Lara Hayes-Giles returned to Denver after ten years of dancing in New York. Lara received her BFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. While in New York, Lara performed with many choreographers & companies including Ann Carlson, Yasmeen Godder, Faye Driscoll, JoAnna Mendel Shaw, Gus Solomons Jr., Treehouse Shakers, Mudpuppy and Doug Varone. She was a founding member of an educational dance company and also choreographed for productions at The 13th Street Theater and The Producers Club. Besides being a member of the Hannah Kahn Dance Company, Lara has enjoyed dancing with Speaking of Dance, 3rd Law Dance/Theater and Morapovida Contemporary Dance.
